If you need to do the same find frequently, you can save it in the "Frequent Finds" pop-up menu. Now you no longer have to retype the find text or choose the field to search in. Instead, just select it from the pop-up menu and bypass the "Find" dialog.
For example, you might frequently need to find your travel agent's number. Instead of choosing "Find" each time (which involves 2 or 3 steps and some typing), you could save "travel agent" in the "Frequent Finds" submenu. From now on, just select "travel agent" from "Frequent Finds", and Dynodex will go straight to that record.
You can always delete one of your Frequent Finds by dragging to "Remove Items" (see instructions below). You can save up to 128 different "Frequent Finds".
To save a "Frequent Find":
• Choose "Find", Cmd-F. Type the "Find What" text and click on "Search In" to select a specific field, first line, phone categories, or all fields.
• Click on the "Add to Menu" button.
• Click "OK" to confirm it.
• Click "Cancel" to exit the "Find" dialog or "Find" to proceed with the Find.
To use a "Frequent Find":
• Select the "Frequent Find" you need from the pop-up menu.
To remove a "Frequent Find":
• Select "Remove Items" in the "Frequent Finds" pop-up.
